Industry Week 11/02 - 14/02/2020

On Tuesday the 12th, I visited the talk for Vinnie Jassal who talked about his job as a Film Location Manager, how it was his role to find locations for a movie and book the place to set up the scene for the film. He is know for having worked on Star Wars, World War Z, Kingsman etc.

Wednesday the 13th was the talk for Michael Morgan; Character Animator who worked on Star Wars - The Clone Wars, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.

Thursday the 15th, I visited a total of three talks, the first was by Naomi Game who talk about illustrations and the work of posters her father; Abram Game worked on.

The second was by Sasha Damjanovski, the director of Orev Films who talked about pitching and presenting an idea to a company.

The third and last one of the day was by James Middleton, an animator CEO & founder @ The Animation Guys.

Friday the 16th, the final day of industry week I visited the actor Ace Ruele, he talked about his experience in acting in films and games with motion capture. He even demonstrated how he acted out playing human sized creature such as gorillas with the use of arm extensions that he made himself.
