Vertex 2020

27/02/2020, I visited the first day of the Vertex event in London, along the way there I helped bring in some equipment for the South Essex Collage stand. I was able to see every other stand being set and went to the only talk happening at that time by Dylan Sisson who worked on Pixar and using the software; Renderman for their 3D films.

28/02/2020, the main event of Vertex where all the stands were set up, I visited multiple talks from people in the industry as well as watched them draw out their own work in front of us. One of these artists I met in person was Izzy Burton, an award-winning Director and Artist working in animation and illustration. Near the end of the day, Izzy drew a landscape of a house in the countryside while took notes how well her colours blend and the lighting o the scenery.
